Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JOYTEL QR Bridge Lite accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.

1. Application and controller

JOYTEL QR Bridge Lite is a private Windows desktop application operated by authorized JOYTEL support personnel. Questions about this policy may be sent to spainjoytel@gmail.com.

2. Google user data accessed

After an authorized user grants access through Google OAuth, the application may access Gmail message metadata and message content required to identify relevant eSIM operator responses. It may also change the read status of a successfully processed message.

3. How Google user data is used

The application uses Gmail data only to:

• search for relevant messages from configured, approved operator senders;
• match an operator response to a pending eSIM request by phone number;
• extract the eSIM activation information contained in that response;
• deliver the result to the configured private customer-support channel; and
• mark the Gmail message as read after successful processing.

4. Storage and retention

OAuth tokens and workflow state are stored locally on the authorized Windows computer. The application keeps only the operational data needed to prevent duplicate processing and maintain task status. eSIM activation data is not written to ordinary application logs. Data is retained only for as long as operationally necessary and may be removed by the authorized operator.

5. Sharing and disclosure

Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. Relevant eSIM activation information may be sent to the private WeChat support channel configured by the authorized user, solely to fulfil the requested support workflow. This transmission is initiated on the user's behalf and is subject to the receiving service's own terms and privacy practices.

6. Security

The application uses OAuth instead of collecting the user's Google password. Access is restricted to the configured account and approved senders. Local credentials are kept outside the application source code, and sensitive eSIM activation values are excluded from ordinary logs.

7. User control

Users may revoke the application's Google access at any time from their Google Account security settings. They may also stop the desktop application and delete its locally stored authorization token.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

JOYTEL QR Bridge Lite's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when the application or its data practices change. The effective date shown above will be updated when a material revision is published.
